I'm Cuyler Callahan, and I'm going to be your reviewer today.
I have used both these programs, and so I can give you the low down on which one is best.
First lets start off by comparing what the products have in common:
-Both Authors of the book have been Personal Fitness Trainers for many years.
-Both books state you need cardio.
-Both books state you need a resistance training program.
-Both books say your resistance training program should be weight lifting.
-Both books give nutritional information.
-Both books use macronutrient ratios.
-Both books give supplement information.
-Both books focus on losing weight, and gaining muscle.
-Both books give bonuses on purchase.
-Both books have cheap price tags.
Now lets give you the differences.
-Shawn Lebrun's Guide to Getting Ripped and Shredded gives you specific exercise instruction.
-Tom Venuto's book doesn't tell you how to do an exercise, but mentions some as examples.
-Shawn only has one set program that he says is needed.
-Tom works on the Principle of Individual Difference and mentions a few starter programs but says you need to experement and gain experience to know what is best for you.
-Tom focuses more on Nutrition then Shawn.
-Shawn says that when weightlifting you only need one set to failure.
-Tom mentions different sets and repitition numbers based on your goals.
-Tom's book is much bigger.
Okay, so the similarities and differences are mentioned, now the Pro's and Con's
