WEIGHT LOSS NUTRITION GUIDELINES
Weight loss help pleeassee?

Hey everyone,

I need a good diet plan! I’ve tried all the fad ones, and they have just ended up in disaster for me.. I have gotten myself a personal trainer, so I know I’m on the right path as far as exercise is concerned.. So does anybody know of a good diet or nutrition guideline to follow?? This needs to be something long term, so no fad diets please :)

If it helps, my current goal is to lose 140 lbs in the next two years.

Try to add some light exercise to any diet plan. Remember that the idea of loosing weight is to burn more calories than you eat. Try to eat lots of foods that are low in calories like fruits and veggies. I know I hate them, but they are full of water and the vitamins and nutrients that you need. Remember that if you buy them, and make a point of eating them before they go bad you will have a better chance of actually putting them in your diet. Try not to even buy anything that is packaged. (ex. crackers, cookies, individual anything!, pop, other machines made foods.) Rotate drinking only water with drinking other drinks that have less than 50 calories per serving. (Milk is not included in this effort. Still drink it!) Try for a water only day then a regular day. If you feel like you have will power try for two days or a whole week going back and forth. Try to limit your breads, and if you exercise more fill up on lean meat like fish, chicken and some beef and pork. They will help you build muscle, and muscle burns fat even when you dont work out. It will be a struggle, and please realize that losing more than two pounds a week means that your body will try very hard to regain that weight later. Good Luck in your quest!!
